Because healing from grief requires more than just time or talk therapy —it requires heartfelt understanding, community, and the right support.
Welcome. I'm so glad you're here.💜

Holistic Grief & Trauma Recovery Practitioner
In 2023, when my father passed away unexpectedly, I thought I understood grief. My family had already lost 6 loved ones during the Covid years. But what followed when my dad died was far more complex than I ever imagined. The loss unearthed decades of unresolved family trauma, and I found myself navigating not just the death of my father, but the weight of generational pain and culturally rooted narcissism, complicated relationships, deep betrayal, estrangement, and wounds I didn't even know existed.
Traditional grief counseling wasn't enough. I needed something more holistic—something that addressed my mind, body, and spirit. Through energy healing, somatic practices, trauma-informed therapy, and deep personal work, I discovered that healing grief means healing all the layers underneath it. I learned that grief isn't just about loss; it's often the doorway to our deepest transformation.
That's why I started writing The Truth About Grief on Substack, and supporting others who haven't found relief from talk therapy or a prescription. Because if you're here, you might be experiencing something similar—grief with trauma that feels heavy, complicated, or stuck after losing your parent or partner in your midlife years. You might have developed mysterious, debilitating symptoms after your loss and haven't found lasting relief from your doctor. You might be discovering that your loss has opened up older, painful wounds. And you deserve support that honors all of it.
I'm here to help you navigate grief in a way that's compassionate, grounded, holistic and truly transformative.

What Clients Are Saying

"I thought I was broken because I couldn't "get over" my mom's death while dealing with my brother's greed. Karen helped me realize I wasn't grieving one loss, but multiple ones, and they were the reason I was constantly sick. I'm so grateful Karen helped me find my way through all of it, including healing my symptoms and mental health, restoring my spirit and getting my life back."
Lisamarie J., 52

"When my wife died of cancer, her family blamed me for "not doing enough" and cut me off from my own grandchildren. I was devastated, sleep deprived and lost. I also had ongoing chest pain and panic attacks from the guilt and isolation. No one understood my pain. Karen helped me focus inward to restore my health and peace of mind, and to focus what was within my control - me."
Robert K., 62

"I thought I was losing my mind after my dad's fatal heart attack last year. My brother and sister started a smear campaign to paint me as "unstable" and cut me out of everything - even the funeral planning. I never thought in a million years I would be betrayed by my own blood. Karen helped me see it was calculated abuse that triggered my autoimmune flares. She got me out of chaos into calm, for good."
Seema C., 49
